We are looking for Waiter/Waitress talents to join our team to provide a truly authentic and unforgettable experience for our guests.

– Duration of the agreement: a fixed-term contract starting from October 2024 with possibilities to be extended.

Job Summary:

As a Waiter/Waitress at Aito Igloo and Spa Resort, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in our boutique hotel setting, ensuring guests receive personalized attention and have memorable moments during their stay.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and Seating:

Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.

Escort guests to their tables and present menus.

Provide recommendations on food and beverages, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.

Order Taking and Service:

Accurately and efficiently take food and beverage orders.

Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure prompt delivery.

Serve food and drinks with attention to detail and presentation.

Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly to any additional requests.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Describe menu items to guests and answer any questions they may have.

Upselling and Promotions:

Suggest additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience.

Promote hotel events and offerings.

Payment Handling:

Present and process bills accurately.

Handle cash and electronic payments efficiently.

Cleanliness and Set-Up:

Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and ensure tables are properly set.

Assist in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication.

Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of menu items and the ability to make recommendations.

Customer-focused with a friendly and positive attitude.

Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks.
