Discovery Travels is a Tour Operator located in Finland and mainly working within the incoming tourism market. The countries of origin of Discovery Travels customers are: Italy, Spain, and English speakers. Discovery Travels is a family-friendly company offering high quality travel experiences with a deep respect for the environment. We are looking for collaborations with likeminded independent (toiminimi or kevytyrittäjä) tour leaders and guides based in the areas of Helsinki, Turku, and Tampere, Rovaniemi, and Ruka-Kuusamo. The activities of Discovery Travels are of diverse type, depending on the season. The length of the experiences may vary from 3 hours city tours to week long experiences. The remuneration will be based on reciprocal agreement.
Discovery Travels guides love to pass on their knowledge about Finland, Finnish art, traditions, and culture with passion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
– Cultural city-tours
– Nature based experiences (e.g. excursions to national parks, trekking, etc. )
– Family friendly experiences
– Weekly tours (periodically)
Qualifications
– Experience working with groups
– Previous experience in guided tours
– Knowledge about the region where operate
– Italian and/or Spanish, and English language skills
– Any other language is an asset
– Customer oriented and good social skills
– Remarkable organizational skills
