Join the inspiring team at Centria University of Applied Sciences as a Teacher in business programs (digital systems, international business and entrepreneurship)! We are looking for a business administration teacher for a fixed-term employment contract for the period August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026. A continuation of the employment relationship is also possible.
Your duties include teaching and supervising various business subjects and developing working life networks. The work requires a broad understanding of business processes, digital systems, international operating environments and entrepreneurship. The task involves the continuous development and maintenance of your own competence, both independently and with a team of business teaching personnel. Topics taught include international business culture, digital marketing channels and tools, business processes, logistics, supply chains and data analytics. Together with your team, you will actively participate in the planning, organization and development of business education and related activities.The detailed plan of the tasks is defined in an annual working time plan, which will be drawn up for one year period.
We offer a comfortable working environment and flexibility to work. Teaching takes place on the Kokkola campus and online, but assignments can also be on the Pietarsaari and Ylivieska campuses. There will also be teaching at evening. The working language is English and Finnish.
We require
An appropriate master’s degree
A pedagogical qualification or if the employment relationship continues, the ability to complete it within three years of selection.
We particularly value skills in online teaching and different cultures
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems is an advantage in the task

Additional information
Salary according to the collective agreement of Sivista ry polytechnics.
Annual working hours 5001600 hours. The position will include both teaching and preparation time, as well as possible thesis supervision.
