The company with its subsidiaries employs 500 persons in Finland, Sweden, Norway and the UK.Read more: www.veo.fiWould you be our new System Engineer?As a System Engineer, you’ll focus the design and development of our low-voltage switchgear solutions that meet our clients’ specifications across various industries, including process industries, hydropower and engine power plants, control systems, electrical substations, and power distribution systems. While the role centers on design, it may also include commissioning at customer sites, allowing you to experience the results of your work in practice. You’ll work closely within a supportive team of engineers, where your responsibilities will expand with your expertise. You’ll also support testing and customer meetings.The role’s seniority can be adjusted based on your expertise and experience. This is a permanent, full-time position. Your office and most of your closest colleagues are located at our Vaasa headquarters, and you can also work flexibly remotely in a hybrid model.What are we looking for?A strong technical background is crucial for this role, ideally with a degree in electrical engineering (B.Sc. or M.Sc.). To succeed as a System Engineer, we hope you already have experience in hands-on engineering tasks, along with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of your tasks and projects. Expertise in Low-voltage switchgear solutions and the commissioning process will be highly beneficial in this role. To ensure effective communication, proficiency in English is required and we also hope you are fluent in Finnish or Swedish.We are looking for someone who is adaptable and excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
