We are now looking to strengthen our Strategic Sourcing team in Vantaa by welcoming a Sourcing Manager ASIC and Packaging area. What you will do?
Your main responsibilities are related to ASIC and semiconductor packaging materials sourcing. Your role is vital in co-operating with large internal stakeholders and external supplier network with competitive terms, ensuring that Muratas production lines have the materials they need on time, at the right cost, and meeting the highest quality standards. You will also have an opportunity to work in a truly globaland cross-functional role with wide visibility and develop further in commercial activities and strategic management of suppliers.
Your role responsibilities and key activities:
– Be responsible for sourcing in ASIC as well as semiconductor packaging materials such as housing/leadframe. – Create a strong supplier base in your sourcing responsibility area with the best terms. – Lead and facilitate cross-functional category teams. – Create, maintain and execute sourcing category strategy in the responsibility area. – Lead supplier commercial, agreement and contract negotiations. – Comprehend suppliers technology roadmaps, global supply market and benchmarking against other industries/solutions. – Manage and execute cost reduction activities with suppliers. – Plan, steer and develop supplier performance and relationships on continuous bases. – Ensure that activities meet all relevant regulations and legal requirements. – Manage and drive resolution of supplier issues and involve other functions in issue resolution and supplier development as needed.
Requirements to be successful as a Sourcing Manager:
– Demonstrated experience of working in global Sourcing/Procurement/Strategic Sourcing area, and experience of working directly with suppliers in an international environment. – Demonstrated semiconductor material sourcing experience and knowledge. – Capability for strategic thinking and demonstrated category strategy creation and execution. – Good negotiation, interaction and communication skills being able to influence people. – Carry out multiple tasks simultaneously but understanding the big picture and focus on the essentials. – Capability to lead cross-functional teams. – Self-driven professional to take ownership of own area. – Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or technical area. – Excellent English language skills.
A final role is defined considering a professional profile of a selected person. This is a permanent, full-time employment contract and the start date is negotiable.
This role requires readiness to travel globally frequently. Who are you going to work with?
In our Strategic Sourcing team, we have seven versatile experts, each with their own area of responsibility. Together we are sharing our knowledge and experience within each other and developing our way of working and practices continuously. The most important internal collaborators in this role are in Supplier Quality, RnD, Operations, Product Management and Business Planning and main external stakeholder are from semiconductor industry field.
