Are you a specialist in onboard application integrations or ROS2 development looking for new challenges in your career? We are looking for two new colleagues for Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy to work as Software Developers in Onboard and ROS2 development. Join us in sharing Finnish high-performance technology and know-how with the world! As an Onboard Software Developer, you will work on application integrations for automated forklifts. You will identify suitable application solutions from partners, install, and test the functionality of the integrations with automated forklifts. We expect you to have knowledge of C++ and PLC coding for successful integrations. As a ROS2 Software Developer, you will work on coding for automated forklifts, where you will also analyze the compatibility of code from our research-partners or open-source communities with our automated forklift systems. You will develop new system solutions for the long term, partially as research work, and collaborate with our corporate-level teams. We expect you to have knowledge of ROS2, C++, and Linux. Experience from working with Agile frameworks and as a Scrum Master is considered a plus. In a ROS2 Software Developer position we hope you have minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in similar positions. You will work in an independent expert role in collaboration with various stakeholders. As an Onboard Software Developer, key stakeholders include integration product partners and internal teams. As a ROS2 Software Developer, key stakeholders include corporate-level developers and your own team. In your new role, you can start according to agreement. Our new Software Developer is a proactive individual with a self-directed attitude and good interpersonal skills, capable of managing tasks and timelines even in changing situations. You also enjoy managing comprehensive projects and working with people. We expect you to have proficiency in English, as you will communicate in English as part of an international organization and team. Previous experience in similar roles and a higher education degree (e.g., Master’s in Automation Technology or other technical degree) will provide a good foundation for success in this role. It will be advantageous if you have proficiency in Finnish, a background in application development, and familiarity with various technologies such as ROS2, Linux, git, JIRA, Azure DevOps, C++, and PLC.
