As part of strategic change to develop new ASICs in-house we will further increase internal development activities. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Specialist, ASIC testing to strengthen our ASIC Testing and Test Software Development Teams in Vantaa.
In this position, you are part of the Test Software Development team, which is responsible for developing reliable and capable measurement/characterization software and solutions for diverse products such as accelerometers, gyroscopes and related ASICs. The team is comprised of ten skilled engineers. The team has a great, innovative spirit and team members support each other.
As a Senior Specialist, you will be technical lead for design for testing (DFT) with ASIC designers, ASIC testing engineer, software engineers and test equipment developers. Development start from early phases of ASIC design and continues during production phase.
Your responsibilities and tasks contain:
– Being technical interface between ASIC design and ASIC wafer level testing. – DFT solutions to achieve ASIC test time and test coverage requirements. – Test methods and structures for latent defects screening. – Test sequence simulations by using System Verilog models. – Test program debugging and development with software engineers. – ASIC testing time optimization. – Product specific PCB specification and probe contact development. – ASIC testing yield and quality improvements. – Wafer level test data analysis. – Technical support during mass production. – Failure analysis support.

These qualities and skills will support your success in the position:
– Technical education (e.g. M.Sc., Ph.D. or D.Sc) with an emphasis on electronics or microelectronics. – Knowledge of digital, analog and mixed signals, and simulations of IC blocks with System Verilog. – Systematic way of working. – Earlier experience of ASIC wafer testing with ATE and DFT. – Earlier experience of programming (e.g. Java, C++, Python, LabVIEW, Linux knowledge). – Willingness to share your knowledge and high motivation to co-operate with several in-house and outside organizations. – Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

We have flexible remote work opportunities and the teams have collaborated to define tasks that require working on the site. In this position, it is possible to work partly remotely and, depending on the stages of the project, the work also requires being present at our Vantaa site. The work may involve occasional travel, e.g. to Europe or Asia, for the purpose of initiating co-operation or co-development. This is a permanent position and start date is negotiable.
