We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our client Wärtsilä and their Digital Sales and CX Development team within the Marine Business unit. In this role, you will be working on hands-on software development, and over time, this position will evolve into a Tech Lead role, where you will take ownership of the technical direction and help build and develop your own team. About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on hands-on software development, working with technologies such as React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, and AWS to develop and maintain digital solutions that support the business. As the role progresses, you will take on greater technical ownership, making strategic decisions regarding software architecture and best practices to support long-term growth. In the future, the role will expand to include building, leading, and coaching your own team.

We are looking for
-A technical educational background
-Several years of experience in both back-end and front-end software development
-Strong skills in technologies such as React, Python, JavaScript-based frameworks, GitHub or Atlassian products, and AWS
-Strong problem-solving skills with an interest in leadership
-Fluency in English
Previous experience in coaching or leading team members is considered a strong advantage
