We are seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer to join our client, Neste, in Porvoo. As a Senior Process Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and designing innovative technologies and solutions that support Neste’s transformation toward sustainable operations.You will work as part of process design teams on both domestic and international projects, managing all phases from pre-study and feasibility to detailed engineering and commissioning. Your role involves close collaboration with R&D, operations, and various stakeholders to drive innovation and optimize processes. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous development and refinement of process design practices.This position is full-time and permanent, located in Kilpilahti, with the possibility to work remotely (up to four days a week) or from Neste’s Espoo office.Keys to success in this roleTo excel in this role, you should have a master’s degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering and at least three years of experience in process design within the chemical industry. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, fluent proficiency in English is required, and Finnish language skills are considered a plus.Experience with industrial risk analyses, process modeling, and industrial wastewater treatment will be considered advantages.
