We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Business Control, UPM Biofuels (m/f/d) to join the UPM Biorefining & Technology business control team. The position is located in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland.

What you will do

As a Senior Manager, Business Control, you are responsible for providing future oriented insight into decision making and acting as a sparring partner to business management, both on tactical and strategic time horizon. You enable decision-making and add value by turning financial data, plans and drivers into clear analysis, proposals and focused actions. You are also responsible for financial reporting and forecasting.

You will be a member of the UPM Biofuels management team and have an important role in UPM Biofuels business decision making. You will lead a small team of business controllers.

In addition, you will:

• Manage and develop UPM Biofuels finance and business processes, tools and analytics in co-operation with various finance and business stakeholders
• Ensure high quality reporting and forecasting and provide insights and summarize the essential from financial information
• Drive actions to optimize financial performance
• Support target setting and follow-up
• Own internal controls, risk management and compliance related tasks

Who you are

• You have a relevant degree (e.g. finance, industrial management, data analytics) and several years of relevant work experience
• You understand finance and business processes and data structures, and command relevant tools (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, SAP S/4, OneStream) with ease
• You are fluent in English; skills in Finnish and/or German are seen as a benefit
• You understand complexities and strive to produce practical solutions
• High-integrity and self-driven are words that describe you well
