Senior Frontend Developer for BeeHealthy

Our BeeHealthy frontend team is responsible for developing web applications that empower digital healthcare for both patients and practitioners by using technologies such as React, TypeScript, Material UI, RTK Query, Redux Saga, WebSocket, Zod etc. We are actively exploring the application of AI and LLMs to streamline practitioners workflows and reduce barriers to digital healthcare access for patients.
We build scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions for many clients, integrating with various healthcare services and APIs. We emphasize great UX, accessibility, and maintainability, ensuring that our product provide the best possible experience for patients.
We work in an agile, cross-functional environment, collaborating with designers, other developers and product managers. The turnover rate in our company is low, and those who enjoy fast-paced development, new technologies, and a culture of ownership tend to thrive at BeeHealthy.
Your Role as our Senior Frontend Developer, you will:
Build scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions using modern technologies with a focus on exceptional UX, accessibility, and maintainability
Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile environment alongside designers, developers, and product managers
Ensure quality through best practices in testing and code reviews
Advocate for consistent development guidelines across team boundaries
Must-have skills:
Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
Deep understanding of state management (e.g., RTK Query, Redux Saga, RxJS) and modern UI validation libraries (e.g. Zod, Yup)
Experience with accessibility best practices, you know how to navigate the WCAG 2.2 and you build now features and components with accessibility in mind
Experience with UI frameworks such as Material UI and Tailwind CSS
A keen interest in AI technologies with hands-on knowledge of how large language models (LLMs) operate, including practical experience integrating AI-driven features into frontend applications
Experience coordinating communication between multiple AI agents and different platforms through workflow automation tools for a seamless frontend experience (AI agent automatic selection, CRUD interactions with databases, data remodeling etc.)
Proven ability with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and Playwright
Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with tools like Docker, Orbstack, Figma, FigJam
Excellent English communication skills (Finnish is a plus)
Bonus points for:
Understanding of modular app architectures and multi-tenant SaaS development
Experience with backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, MSSQL and/or Postgres)
Experience with websockets and videocall providers
Knowledge of health tech, integrations, and regulatory requirements in medical apps
