Role DescriptionAs Financial Controller, you are responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with the accounting standards and local regulations as well as support and develop our internal processes. You will be a key member of the Finance team in Finland and act as a key point of contact between the Finance team, Financial Control Northen Europe and our Shared Service Center in India, to support and develop the financial processes.The organization is in a dynamic period of changes and we offer an opportunity to take hands-on lead in shaping and improving a solid environment and helping to efficient our finance processes. Monitor the month end close process and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS/local GAAP
Oversee the General Ledger
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
Responsible for annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial insights to management
Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency

Related Job Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of finance experience, preferably you have both audit and post-audit experience.
Strong persuasion and influencing skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish.
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with reporting systems or BI solutions. (i.e., Oracle, Microsoft Power BI).
