Gasum is a leading Nordic biogas producer and supplier with biogas production plants in Finland and Sweden. Gasum’s biogas is a renewable fuel made entirely of waste. It allows our partners to reduce their CO2-emissions significantly and to shift from a linear to a circular economy. In addition to biogas, our plants produce recycled nutrients. We continuously develop our production by investing in new large-scale modern biogas plants. Our purpose is cleaner energy, and our goal is to bring 7 TWh of renewable gas to market yearly by 2027.
We are looking for a Project Controller based in our Espoo office.
We are seeking a Project Controller to join our Biogas Unit. This pivotal role involves financial controlling, reporting and budgeting, and ensuring availability of sufficient financial information for managing the investment projects. The role will provide financial information to project teams and coordinate investment subsidy actions and reporting. As a strong team player and communicator in project support functions, the Project Controller will offer general support to projects within the biogas unit teams in D365, and play a key role in developing financial reporting systems using Power BI and our internal project management system, Thinking Portfolio.
Your main responsibilities will be:
– Perform and coordinate financial controlling, invoice handling from Basware, and costs follow-up within the biogas unit – Capex and Opex budgeting for investment pro – Cost reporting in the biogas unit and towards BU/group financial team – Cost reporting for the Maintenance team within the Biogas Production unit – Follow-up project financials in Power BI and Thinking Portfolio – Subsidy reporting for projects in Finland, Norway and Sweden – Technical and procurement documentation management assistance (using Proarc)
What we expect from you:
– At least 5 years of relevant and documented work experience – Basic understanding of Project Management – Experience from working in international organization – Good understanding of ERP-operations and solid knowledge within the accounting area – Experience from project related work in close collaboration with project managers – Relevant university level degree or similar education – Fluent in Finnish and English, both in speaking and writing – Self-motivated, analytical, target oriented and process focused approach to work – Strong team player and communicator in project support functions – Willing to share information, ideas and find solutions
