We are now looking for a solution and business-oriented colleague with a service-oriented mindset and a wide HRM skillset. This position is for a true generalist, who has hands-on experience on HR management and knowledge on Finnish employment legislation.
In this People Operations Specialist role your tasks include operative day-to-day customer service and support of our own employees and supervisors throughout the whole employment life cycle, and versatile tasks in our core people processes such as payroll and benefits. You will offer advice and support on administrative and legal matters, such as employment law, collective agreements and compensation in a proactive manner, make regular reports to different stakeholders and manage documents in a professional way. For more experienced candidates we can also offer interesting tasks in the ongoing projects, so this position can also grow according to your skills and professional interests in the future.
To succeed in this role, we assume that you have prior experience from an HR generalist type of role where you have gained hands-on knowledge on employment matters and the legal and compliance aspect of the wide field of HR. You have prior work experience in HRM and time management tools and payroll process. You are familiar with Finnish work legislation and collective agreements. You are able to see the big picture and implications of the decisions made and have the persistence and capability to find out the missing facts or details before moving forward while working on multiple tasks at the same time. You truly have a proactive hands-on attitude and customer-oriented mindset, eye for detail and focus on high quality. Our working language is English, but you also need to be able to communicate fluently in Finnish, both verbally and written, to communicate effectively for example with different authorities.

Main responsibilities:
– Day-to-day operative HR customer service and support for our employees and supervisors throughout the employment life cycle.
– Versatile operative tasks in core people processes (payroll, employment life cycle, benefits etc.).
– Offering advice and support on HR administrative and legal matters (employment law, collective agreements, local agreements, compensation) in a proactive manner.
– Regular reporting to different stakeholders.
– Documentation management (contracts, policies).
– Training and onboarding of supervisors and employees.
– HRM process development.
What we expect from you
– Master’s/bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
– Prior work experience from an HR generalist type of role
– Experience and skills to interpret employment law and collective agreements in a business environment (Technology industry)
– Knowledge of payroll / compensation processes
– Excellent communication skills
– Fluency in English and Finnish
– Team player with commitment to integrity and collaboration
– Positive customer service attitude and customer-oriented mindset
– Hands-on attitude with eye for detail and focus on high quality
– Solution-oriented and proactive approach to work

– Experience in manufacturing, production, or technology environment
– Work experience in international environment
