Enersense Engineering is currently looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join our clients to join our clients industry-leading team working on one of the world’s largest pulp and paper mills. The duration for this position is 1 year, and the work is located on-site, in Indonesia.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on a major industrial project. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in the lime kiln and recausticizing prosess areas in the OKI project in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on-site.
Ensure all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Manage and lead mechanical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Conduct inspections and quality control checks on mechanical equipment and systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues, providing practical solutions to maintain project progress.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, work permits, and inspection records.
Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical, civil, and operations teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
Participate in meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on mechanical work progress.
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience on the OKI project in Indonesia is mandatory.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical supervision within industrial, pulp & paper, or large-scale construction projects.
Proven experience of working in the lime kiln and recausticizing prosess areas.
Previous experience in large-scale industrial projects, especially in the pulp & paper or power plant sectors.
Familiarity with international industry standards and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical schematics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Willingness to work in a dynamic project environment with strict deadlines.
Experience working with multinational teams and contractors.
English language skills, Chinese language skills considered as an advantage
