Nipromec Oy Ltd is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. Nipromec offices in Finland are located in Rauma, Turku, Tampere and Helsinki. Group has offices also in Malmö in Sweden, Erlangen in Germany, Bristol and London in United Kingdom. We are currently looking for MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS in our customer projects. The work starts as soon as possible.Your main tasks will include mechanical design, modeling work using various software tools, and documentation to support the overall project. As a Mechanical Designer, your tasks will consist of:
Machine design, 3D design, creating technical drawings, and handling independent design projects
The role will adapt according to your level of experience and expertise, and you may, for example, independently conduct technical analysis and FEM calculations
You will be responsible for supporting the design and development of hardware components as the projects evolves
Creating and updating technical documentation as necessary and participating in different phases of the projects
We expect you to have:
A relevant technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering, energy technology, MSc/Engineer)
At least three years of design experience
Familiarity with E3D/PDMS;AutoCAD and Solidwork experience will be considered an advantage
Previous experience from maritime industry, especially from propulsion systems
Fluent English skills, Finnish is considered as a plus
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work independently and accurately
