STRAWBERRY PICKER
We are looking for seasonal workers for strawberry picking for the 2025 harvesting season. We grow high-quality strawberries for the fresh market. Since strawberries grow in open fields and picking is done in all weather conditions, the work requires good physical fitness. Additionally, we require workers to be at least 18 years old and have basic English language skills. Previous experience in picking is not necessary as workers will be trained for the task. We provide the necessary tool for pickers (such as rain gear, rubber boots and work gloves).
The daily working hours vary depending on the harvest situation. On average, work is done for 8 hours per day, 6 days a week. Workers are paid by piecework according to the collective agreement for rural industries. The work is scheduled during the harvest season, approximately from late June to mid-August. We also consider request for shorter working period.
At the farm, there is accommodation available in 2-4 person rooms. The accommodation facilities include shared kitchen facilities, showers, toilets, sauna and wifi. The accommodation fee is 5 € per working day (includes electricity and water, bedding, and cleaning supplies). It is possible to borrow a car for shopping trips and leisure activities, following agreed-upon rules.
The opening is primarily open to candidates from Finland and the EU/EEA region. The application process is done in cooperation with EURES. MANSIKANPOIMIJA
Etsimme kausityöntekijöitä mansikan poimintaan satokaudelle 2025. Kasvatamme korkealaatuista mansikkaa tuoremarkkinoille. Koska mansikat kasvavat avomaalla ja poimintaa tehdään kaikissa sääolosuhteissa, työ edellyttää hyvää fyysistä toimintakykyä. Lisäksi edellytämme työntekijöiltämme vähintään 18 vuoden ikää sekä tyydyttävää englannin kielen taitoa. Aikaisempi kokemus poimintatyöstä ei ole välttämätöntä, sillä työntekijät perehdytetään tehtävään. Tarjoamme poimijoille työssä tarvittavat välineet (mm. sadevaatteet, kumpparit ja työhanskat).
Päivittäinen työaika vaihtelee satotilanteen mukaan. Työtä tehdään keskimäärin 8 tuntia päivässä, kuutena päivänä viikossa. Työstä maksetaan maaseutuelinkeinojen työehtosopimuksen mukaista urakkapalkkaa. Työt sijoittuvat satokauden ajalle, arviolta kesäkuun lopusta elokuun puoliväliin. Otamme huomioon toiveet myös lyhyemmästä työskentelyajasta.
Tilalla on majoitusmahdollisuus 2-4 hengen huoneissa. Majoitustiloista löytyy yhteiskäytössä olevat keittotilat, suihkut ja wc:t, sauna sekä wifi. Majoitusmaksu on 5 €/työpäivä (sisältää sähkön ja veden, petivaatteet ja pesuaineet). Autoa on mahdollista laitana kauppareissuja varten ja vapaa-ajalla liikkumiseen yhdessä sovittujen pelisääntöjen mukaisesti.
