We are looking for Manager, Supply Planning to our Sales & Operations Planning organization.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is a cross-functional, mid-term monthly planning and decision-making process aligning the plans of the key functions (such as Sales, Product Management, Operations, HR, Finance, Management) as a joint tactical level business plan. Its main goal is to plan and balance the future demand and supply (resources, capacities, supply chain). The S&OP process is positioned between strategic and MPS planning and it is linked to both these processes. S&OP function leads, facilitates, and develops Patria’s S&OP processes and solution landscape.
Now we are looking for Manager, Supply Planning to join the team. In this position you will be part of S&OP team and will report to SVP, Sales & Operations Planning. The position can locate in Hämeenlinna or Tampere.
Main responsibilities:
– As a part of the monthly Patria S&OP process, responsible of leading and facilitating the process for generating and maintaining the Operations / Supply Plans for the assigned Platforms/Platform Groups of Patria Operations, in close cooperation with the planning team and relevant business functions
– Responsible for generating, updating and analyzing the load (derived from the demand plan/scenarios) v. key capacities/resources outlook and to propose and to assure necessary decisions are made about actions/ways to balance the supply w. demand and/or to resolve the foreseen supply issues and/or risks.
– Responsible for preparing materials for and to facilitate the monthly Supply Review meetings for the Patria Operations areas of responsibility
– Responsible for measuring, reporting and driving improvement of the accuracy, reliability and usability of the Supply Plans.
– Responsible for continually developing and harmonizing the S&OP and Supply Planning processes, tools and methodologies and their meaningful linkages to the related processes such as Demand, MPS, HC/FTE and Finance planning.
– Responsible for participating in and contributing to agreed development projects/initiatives as a related to planning subject matter expert
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Supply Planning manager with experience in working in project organizations and with cross-functional teams. You have a solid expertise and experience in one or several of the following areas: Operations, production, supply chain and/or MPS planning. You are a self-motivated team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and continuous development mindset. You are proficient in working with data and relevant IT and planning tools and you have excellent co-operation and communication skills.
The chosen candidate must have:
– A bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology, economics or engineering
– Experience from a related field or environment for example Operations and/or Supply Chain Planning
– Experience in modern planning methods, tools and technologies
– Discipline, motivation and drive for continuous improvement and to create, develop and follow processes
– Good communication and leadership skills
– Good collaboration capabilities and desire to work with people
– Self-motivation with ‘can-do’ attitude to deliver / get things done
– Fluency in both written and spoken Finnish and English
