MANAGER, SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING
We are now looking for a new S&OP Manager to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team for a permanent position at our head office in Helsinki. Join our team and help us make a difference!
Your key contribution areas
As our new Sales and Operations Planning Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution and development of Lindströms Procurement & Supply Chain planning processes. In this role you will working closely with various stakeholders and will lead the Supply Chain planning team, which is responsible for gathering and consolidating demand plans, creating supply plans, and communicating them to the supplier network.
Your key responsibilities include:
– Leading the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning processes to ensure alignment between demand and supply plans
– Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to consolidate demand plans from business unit level to regional and group levels
– Proactively monitoring and analysing supply chain planning performance metrics to identify improvement areas
– Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and effectiveness
– Acting as key user of supply chain planning tools
What helps you shine in this role?
We are looking for a new team member who has solid experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or related field. Our ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a talent for strategic thinking and planning. A delivery-oriented approach to work and an understanding of statistical forecasting methods will help you along the way. Previous experience with the implementation or roll-out of supply chain planning systems is seen as beneficial, as well as familiarity with supply chain related software.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
– Bachelors degree or higher in relevant field (e.g. Supply chain management, Business administration)
– At least three years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field
– Strong skills and experience with data analytics and reporting
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills and strong presentation skills
– Excellent written and spoken English skills
– Excellent IT skills (MS Office, BI tools, GenAI)
– Good understanding of supply chain planning software and tools is considered an advantage
Your key people
You will be joining a team of eight dedicated supply chain experts, and you will be reporting to the Head of Supply Chain. Within our planning team, were excited about change and we constantly make use of our experience and creativity to solve Lindströms circular economy challenges. We look forward to designing and deploying our future supply chain planning processes/solutions with you!
Among your most important stakeholders will be Lindströms Demand Planners, Supply Planners, Supply Specialists, Heads of Procurement, and Business Unit Buyers. You will also be working closely with our Sales and Finance teams as well as Case Support and the Services and Product Concept teams. Everyone is eager to meet you!
