Sumitomo SHI FW is looking for a Layout Engineer to work as an assigned Layout Engineer in project execution team. Layout Engineer works in an international team and offers you a great opportunity to work inside constantly changing international power business. The primary work location is Sosnowiec, Poland, or Varkaus / Espoo, Finland, with the possibility of remote work in accordance with the company’s hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
You will have a responsibility for plant layout and non-pressure part design in execution projects. You will communicate and co-operate closely with Area Responsible Designers (Pressure Parts and Piping), Structural Engineers, Steel Structure Designers, Equipment Engineers and Vendors, Discipline Engineers (Mechanical, Civil and EIC) and Engineer Managers. You will prepare, maintain, and control plant 3D model and will be responsible for the interfaces at internal and external delivery limits.
Qualifications
You have suitable technical education (B. Eng. or M. Eng.). 3D plant design tools are familiar to you. CADMATIC experience is appreciated but program training will be arranged. The ideal candidate brings a strong design background, with hands-on experience. You have good teamwork skills and ability to solve technical problems. Position also requires good skills in communication, presentation, and good English language skills, as well as reasonable readiness to travel.
