Kuvaus
We are looking for an R&D Engineer to join our team of three experts. In this role, you will focus on developing chemical-based solutions for manufacturing processes and products. You will work on both applied technology research and product development projects. You will report to our CTO, Petri Jetsu.
Your main responsibilities will include:
– Developing new chemical-based solutions for processes and products
– Leading R&D projects
– Documenting research and development activities and results
– Presenting research and development findings to internal and external stakeholders
– Providing technical support to production and other teams
– Conducting studies on the state of the art and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation
– Cooperating with R&D partners
Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s degree in Chemistry
– About 5 years of experience in a research and development role related to papermaking
– Experience with foam forming is preferred
– Proven track record in developing new chemical-based solutions
– Strong project management skills
– Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Experience with patent development and protection is preferred
– Strong communication skills in English
