Are you a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Years (PYP) Visual Arts Teacher to inspire and engage students in their artistic learning journey. This is a part-time, permanent position within our dynamic IB World School, where inquiry-based learning and intercultural understanding are at the core of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Teach Visual Arts to students in the PYP (Primary Years) Program. Possibility that teaching will also include MYP (Middle Years) classes as well.
Develop and implement engaging, inquiry-driven art lessons aligned with the IB curriculum.
Guide students in exploring a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and cultural influences in art.
Foster creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression through visual arts.
Differentiate instruction to support students’ diverse artistic abilities and learning styles.
Plan and implement engaging and rigorous student assessments that inform teaching, learning, and feedback with all stakeholders.
Organize student exhibitions, art showcases, and community art projects.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art across different subjects and interdisciplinary units.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art Education, or in a related field.
Teaching certification and significant teaching experience, preferably in an IB PYP/MYP setting or in an international school.
Strong understanding of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, and artistic pedagogy.
Proficiency in various art techniques, digital media, and contemporary art practices.
Ability to inspire creative expression and critical thinking in students.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
