Employment starts with induction period continuing as a substitute for HSESQ Manager during her parental leave. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found, and the contract will continue (at least) until February 2026.
Role Description
– You plan and implement the site’s HSESQ procedures (occupational health, safety, quality, environment, feed safety and security) and practices so that the site complies with standards, regulations, permits and laws.
– You are responsible for certified ISO (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) standards.
– You continuously seek to improve local practices to better serve local needs and motivate the organization to be involved in improvement needs.
– You prepare environmental, health and safety documents and reports.
– You conduct risk assessments and coach line management with their risk assessments.
– You perform internal audits, take part in external audits, and drive continuous HSESQ improvement.
– You design and organize environmental, health and safety trainings for employees.
– You participate in cross functional problem-solving and improvement teams at the site and global level.
– You manage and investigate incidents related to site health, safety, environment and security.
– You co-operate with local authorities and other stakeholders in your responsibility area, ensuring the continuous development of the network and the overall relationship.

Required Qualification & Experience:
– Bachelor or Masters degree in chemistry, process engineering or in a related field.
– Relevant experience in working with occupational health, safety and environmental issues, knowledge of security and feed safety is seen as an advantage, preferably from chemical industry
– Strong communication and leadership skills with an emphasis on people development and change management.
– Proven ability to plan and execute safety protocols effectively and strengthen safety culture.
– You have a positive can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work.
– Fluent in Finnish and English
