HR Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Act as the main HR contact for colleagues and managers in Finland.
– Support the day-to-day operation of the business in all HR related activities.
– Ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations.
– Support with recruitment needs of the business.
– Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
– Support with local training needs such as induction and manager training.
– Prepare all administrative documents related to people management: contracts, amendments, leaver documents, etc
– Maintain up-to-date records for each colleague, including time/attendance.
– Maintain relationships in relation to company benefits such as insurance, occupational health, pension, etc.
– Be the first point of contact for all employee relation cases.
– Ensure the business adopts agreed UTAC ways of working, participating in and supporting the delivery of group policies and initiatives
– Coach and guide our line managers to manage in the UTAC way.
– Promote the UTAC culture and values (Integrity, Expertise, and Innovation).
– Support payroll activity each month.
– Manage HR related payables in AP-system (Maestro NG)
– Provide HR reports for the group on a monthly basis, plus any ad hoc requests.
– Coordinate internal communication, creating a strong connection to Group wide activities whilst also supporting local initiatives and engagement activities
– Lead and promote ESG initiatives and activities
– Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
– Strong and proven HR generalist background.
– Experience in a range of HR disciplines and in-depth knowledge of employment laws and best practice in Finland.
– An understanding of the connection between HR tasks and financial administration would be considered an advantage, but not essential
– Experience in resourcing and onboarding.
– Experience of supporting Payroll would be very desirable, and an interest in taking on more Payroll related tasks in the future would also be an advantage.
– Fluency in Finnish and English is required.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
– Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organization skills.
– Strong attention to detail required.
– Be able to demonstrate perseverance, be punctual, use your initiative and collaborate well with others
– Strong IT skills
– Ability to work independently and detect development needs
