Group Procurement Manager

For the hotel, events, and restaurant industry at Sunborn Group

We are looking for a skilled and commercially experienced Procurement Manager to strengthen our team in a dynamic and growing company in the hotel, events, and restaurant industry. This role offers a high level of responsibility, independence, and a diverse range of tasks, allowing you to leverage your expertise while developing procurement operations as part of a successful organization.

We welcome applications from candidates with strong commercial experience internationally, even if they do not have prior experience in Finland.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing the procurement process across the entire group. You will work closely with the management of various group operations, report to the Group Director and work closely with CEO’s and leadership of key group companies in various projects and day-to- day operations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Designing, coordinating, implementing and optimizing the procurement process.
Negotiating and finalizing supplier contracts.
Managing procurement and competitive bidding for new projects, including loose and fixed furnishings, materials, machinery, equipment, electrical supplies, and contractor services.
Procuring hospitality and events consumables, materials and equipment.
Coordinating purchases in collaboration with various departments, design teams and external partners.
Conducting market research and identifying cost-effective solutions.

What We Expect from You

Proven commercial experience in procurement or purchasing at an international level.
A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong negotiation, communication and project management skills.
Fluent English skills; proficiency in Finnish is beneficial but not required. Abilities in other key languages such as Spanish, German, French and Chinese will be an advantage.
Analytical skills and the ability to develop and lead procurement processes, solid experience with customary software
Industry experience in the hotel, events, or restaurant sector is a significant advantage.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Turku, Finland. The position will require occasional travel.
