Teaching and Curriculum Development:
1. Deliver Finnish language lessons tailored to Chinese students at various proficiency levels, including A2, B1, B2, or higher.
2. Develop and customize curriculum and lesson plans based on students’ progress and proficiency, ensuring each student’s needs are met.
3. Employ diverse teaching methods and materials to engage students, making the learning process interactive and enjoyable.
4. Regularly assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement.
Experience:
Previous experience in teaching Finnish as a foreign language, preferably to Chinese students, is required.
Experience with different proficiency levels (A2, B1, B2, or higher) is essential. Familiarity with the “Suomen Mestari” series (1, 2, and 3) as teaching materials is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
1. Proficiency in Finnish (native or near-native level) and experiences of teaching Finnish.
2. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
3. Strong intercultural communication skills and sensitivity to cultural differences.
4. Ability to design engaging and effective lesson plans and educational materials.
5. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
