We are looking for a Finance Specialistto join our clients China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. team for the KotkaCAM Plant project.
China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.(CHEC) is a world-renowned international contractorand a leading provider of comprehensive services across the entire industrychain for both public and private sectors. CHEC has been engaged as the maincontractor for the CAM Plant project in Kotka, responsible for theimplementation and construction of the plant.
In this Finance Specialist role, you willbe part of the finance team that contributes to the successful execution of theproject. The position is project-based, with an expected duration ofapproximately two years, and the work is located in Keltakallio, Kotka.
Your responsibilities include:
– Conducting thorough reviews ofincoming invoices to ensure legal compliance, accuracy, and alignment withFinnish tax laws and corporate policies.
– Generating outgoing invoicesfor clients and partners, adhering to Finlands invoicing regulations andinternational accounting standards.
– Acting as the primary contactfor local banks to oversee daily transactions, account reconciliations, andliquidity management.
– Monitoring cross-border fundflows to ensure alignment with both Finnish and international financialregulations.
What we expect from you:
– Degree in Finance, Accounting,Economics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also beconsidered.
– Solid understanding of Finnishfinancial legislation and corporate governance; experience with IFRS is astrong advantage.
– Proven experience in taxcompliance, treasury operations, or financial accounting.
– Familiarity with financialpractices in the engineering or construction industry is preferred.
– Full professional proficiencyin English.
