Role: As an Export Account Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding CBB International Group’s client base. Your primary focus will be to identify, secure, and nurture long-term partnerships with factories, manufacturers, and producers seeking to expand their international sales through CBB’s global network. You will specialize in one or more of the following sectors: Industrial, Energy, Food & Beverage, Alcohol Products, Tobacco products, other regulated products, Electronics, Cosmetics, and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods). Collaborating closely with potential clients and CBB’s Sales Managers, you will contribute to the development of effective sales and marketing strategies and ensure ongoing client satisfaction, including facilitating their export logistics.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect potential client companies (factories, manufacturers, producers) within your specialized sector(s) who are interested in international sales.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing client companies.
Present CBB International Group’s services and value proposition effectively.
Collaborate with clients to understand their international sales objectives and evolving requirements, including their logistics needs for export.
Work in conjunction with CBB’s Sales Managers to develop tailored sales and marketing plans for client products and services in target markets.
Collaborate with CBB’s Logistics Manager to plan and coordinate efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions for your clients’ export operations.
Assist clients in collaboration with Logistics Manager in their export planning by providing insights and support related to logistics, transportation, tariffs, and documentation.
Negotiate and finalize agreements with new client partners and manage the ongoing contractual relationship.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and account status, utilizing CRM and ERP systems as required.
Serve as the primary point of contact for your portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and opportunities for growth are explored.
Proactively identify and address any client concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within one of the specified sectors (Industrial, Energy, Food & Beverage, Alcohol Products, Tobacco products, other regulated products, Electronics, Cosmetics, FMCG).
Strong understanding of international trade and business practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building.
Knowledge in using CRM and ERP systems for managing client data and sales processes.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule effectively, and be a proactive self-starter.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, even in a remote setting.
Fluency in English is essential; additional and local language skills are an advantage.
Existing network within relevant industries is a plus.
Familiarity with export operations is beneficial.
