The Opportunity
Join our dynamic financial technology strategy and transformation team as a Solution Architect. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of innovating and delivering sophisticated technology solutions that align with our clients’ objectives while adhering to the financial industry’s regulatory landscape. Your Key Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you will contribute to or lead the development of approaches that support the technology transformation goals of our clients in the financial sector. You will create scalable and innovative solutions that integrate cutting-edge technologies into financial business models. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that technology transformations are effectively implemented and deliver measurable business outcomes. Your expertise will guide clients on the impact of regulatory changes on technology and advise on compliance-driven architecture.
You will develop roadmaps, architecture frameworks, and detailed technical documentation to guide financial institutions through complex transformation initiatives. Engaging with clients’ executives from both business and technology sides, you will communicate technology transformation, articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions, and influence key decision-makers. Additionally, you will facilitate workshops and training sessions to align stakeholders with the technology transformation vision and objectives.

Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, we expect you to have:
– A master’s degree in a relevant field and 7-8 years of experience as a Solution Architect in the financial services industry.
– Thorough knowledge of financial services regulations, expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps, and be aware of emerging technologies.
– Strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Ideally, You Will Also Have
Professional certifications in financial services technology, architecture frameworks, or IT service management will set you apart. Previous experience in a consulting environment, with a track record of successful client engagements and technology implementations, is considered as an advantage.

There will also be a case interview which is designed to provide you insights to the work at EY, and assess your technical skills to the role.
