About the Role:

We are looking for a Customer Design & Implementation Manager to join our FIN02 Data Center in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you will oversee the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure projects within our data centers, ensuring they meet company standards for performance, scalability, and availability. You will also manage customer requests and communication, ensuring all projects align with customer needs and are delivered with exceptional service and support.

You’ll build and lead your own team of maintenance technicians while collaborating with sales, technical engineers, and operations teams to ensure smooth customer implementations and handoffs. You will manage data center capacity, budget management, and procurement, all while driving continuous improvements in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

This is a unique opportunity to join us at an early stage and create your own team, mentor staff, and establish processes that optimize efficiency and enhance customer support. You will ensure proactive communication and swift resolution of customer issues, while maintaining our data center’s high standards for performance, reliability, and compliance.

About You:

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in customer implementations, data center design, and operations. You excel at people management and have a proven ability to lead technical teams while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise, paired with leadership skills, will help you build a high-performing team and deliver smooth, efficient project execution.

Requirements:

– Engineer with experience in customer support, data center design, and implementations.

– Proven experience in people management, with the ability to build and lead a team

– Strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure design, and industry standards.

– Experience handling complex projects and delivering excellent customer service.

– Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

– Experience in budget management and procurement.

– Proficiency in both English and Finnish is essential for this role

– Availability for 24/7 on-call duties as needed.
