We are now looking for a Corporate Responsibility Manager focusing on reporting and standards. The position is fixed-term (parental leave substitution) and located in our headquarters in Espoo, Finland.
Description of positionWe are seeking a Corporate Responsibility Manager for a fixed-term position (parental leave substitution). In your position, you will:

Manage Orion’s sustainability reporting and assurance process to ensure compliance with sustainability reporting standards
Stay up to date with the latest developments and requirements in sustainability reporting, and implement best practices relevant to Orion
Collaborate and coach across functions to develop key activities related to the sustainability reporting process
Act as a subject matter expert in reporting and standards, building awareness internally and externally
Coordinate Sustainability Agenda’s annual reporting, including metrics, targets and disclosures relevant to stakeholders such as investors and customers
Prepare presentations and proposals for various stakeholders
Support in sustainability communications and stakeholder dialogue inc. sustainability ratings

In addition, you will promote Sustainability Agenda as part of the team by participating in selected projects, coordinating initiatives and supporting in various tasks not limited to reporting and standards to ensure the progress and development of the Sustainability Agenda.
Corporate Responsibility Manager works in Orion’s Group-level Corporate Responsibility function and reports to Head of Corporate Responsibility. In a small team of six members, you will have an opportunity to work in a very multidisciplinary way, constantly developing Orion’s sustainability performance. The position will entail close collaboration with diverse functions and teams across the organization, as well as opportunities for networking with peers. Project management is natural for you, and you stick to agreed schedules.
Our newly renovated premises at Orion House in Espoo, Finland offer a great setting for pleasant interaction with colleagues! It is also possible to work partly remotely in accordance with the company’s standard practices.
Description of unitCorporate Responsibility function, which is part of Orion’s Corporate Functions, is responsible for managing and coordinating corporate responsibility and developing it comprehensively in our operations across the value chain. You will contribute to continuously developing the way of doing business in sustainable manner.

RequirementsTo succeed as the Corporate Responsibility Manager, you should have the following qualities & professional experience:

Relevant academic master’s degree, such as sustainability, engineering or economics
Strong project management skills, including the ability to network effectively and engage with stakeholders
Accountability and the capability to execute comprehensive action plans, but also manage routines and working hands on
Relevant work experience in sustainability
Experience in sustainability reporting; familiarity with the Wdesk ESG program is a plus
Collaborative and team-oriented ways of working
Excellent communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and easy-to-understand language to a range of audiences
Fluency in Finnish and English

Primarily, this role requires strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy working and active partnering with subject matter experts and other key stakeholders across the company as well as externally. You work in a structured way, finding solutions and building co-operation across the organization.
