The English School is looking for a native English speaking Class Teacher for Grade 1 for the period 10.3.2025 – 31.5.2025 and Grade 2 for the period 5.8.2025 – 6.4.2026 (same group of children).
The English School was founded in 1945 and was the first bilingual (English and Finnish) school in Finland. The school follows the Finnish National Curriculum with special emphasis on the English and Finnish languages and cultures. Classes are taught in English or Finnish, depending on the subject.
We are looking for a native English-speaking class teacher with excellent collaborative skills who has a special interest in teaching English in a bilingual environment. Experience in teaching literacy and math skills to young learners is a plus.

Original certificates should be presented at the interview. A certificate of health and criminal record must also be provided before the candidate can be appointed to the position.
There is a four-month probationary period.
