We are looking for an experienced Civils Manager to join our team for an exciting new data center construction project in Helsinki metropolitan area, Finland.
What are the main responsibilities?
You will manage the coordination of civil work packages on a large-scale project, overseeing a project team and supporting the management of multiple subcontractors with significant combined package values. You will oversee contractor design elements, ensure BIM processes are followed, manage site safety and quality assurance, and coordinate the project schedule with various stakeholders. Additionally, you will track project costs, manage day-to-day site operations, attend meetings, support project closeout functions, hold commercial meetings to process variations, and handle change management according to company processes. You will report directly to the CSA Lead.
What do we expect from you?
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civils Engineering or a related field, with extensive experience in the CSA industry. They should have prior experience delivering projects from concept to handover, as well as experience in scheduling, programming, managing subcontractors, and sequencing. Effective team management skills are essential. While data center experience is advantageous, it is not necessary. Experience in the delivery of large-scale projects is crucial. Good communication skills in English are required, and Finnish language skills are a plus.
