Framery is looking for a Buyer to join the team in Tampere. In this role, you will work in a team of five Buyers to play a key part in ensuring smooth purchasing processes for both R&D and production needs. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure materials and components are available when needed.
What will you be doing?
– Purchasing components and materials for R&D purposes, ensuring timely availability.
– Operative purchasing from selected suppliers to meet production requirements.
– Optimizing inventory levels to maintain balance between cost efficiency and material readiness.
– Communicating actively with suppliers and resolving any issues.
– Participating in the development of purchasing processes.
What we are looking for:
– Solid knowledge of purchasing operations gained through work experience. Ideally you have an understanding of overall supply chain operations.
– Precision, flexibility, and good collaboration and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with multitasking abilities – you can adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
– Proficiency in both Finnish and English to interact with various stakeholders.
– A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
– Familiarity with ERP systems, Excel and procurement software – we are using NetSuite

Recruitment process:
– Remote interview.
– On-site interview at the Factory, Framery HQ in Tampere.
– (A potential third interview at the Factory, Framery HQ.)
Practicalities:
This is a full-time, fixed-term position lasting until the end of 2025. The start time in the role is as soon as possible. The position is located in Tampere and we work with a hybrid model – therefore a readiness to visit The Factory (Framery HQ) weekly to work with the team and meet colleagues is required.
