Owner for ensuring management reporting process and structures are in place. Aligning the reporting requirements between Group and BA’s. Expert knowledge for both SAP ERP and Group consolidation systems (HFM) management reporting structures

Business Controller, Group is responsible for:

  • Owner for Global ERP (SAP) controlling structures
    • Profit center & cost center hierarchies and how those reflect to Group (HFM) reporting requirements
  • Defining the needed structures for Group and BA management reporting requirements
  • Ensuring correctly reported figures for monthly financials for group level management reporting
  • Preparing the monthly Group level financials data to VP Group Controlling and Reporting and CFO
  • Co-operating with Group Financial controller for group level reporting so that internal and external reporting on group level is aligned
  • Owning the process execution for financial forecasts on group level (Rolling forecast, Business plan, LTP)
  • Guiding and training the users for the above mentioned processes
  • Project participation in various projects with SAP ERP controlling connection or HFM reporting  

He/she owns group reporting structures and finance master data. He/she ensures that Fiskars Group has rolling forecasting and business planning processes running according to the annual clock, structures are in place, BA’s and entities know what they need to report and ensures that reporting is in place. The role collaborates widely with business finance and group finance teams across the company and provides common tools, templates and processes to ensure high quality reporting.

Role requires hands-on attitude, understanding how ERP level figures flow to Group reporting and how ERP controlling set-up works.

He/she manages and executes entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering, synthesis and modelling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.

Experience & knowledge:

  • >7 years
  • Strong technical proficiency in excel and HFM, SAP (BW, FICO, COPA)
    • Experience in SAP Controlling environment, either from using or consulting/project background
    • Experience in Group consolidating systems, either from using as an reporting side or working in a group team  
  • Seasoned finance and accounting management skills
  • Experience in group reporting and creating management reporting
  • Experience in leading monthly and annual planning processes
  • Ability to understand business through figures and communicate this to stakeholders
  • Knowledge/experience of consumer good industry considered an asset.
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent communication skills across different levels of organization, ability and willingness to persuade and influence, engage and collaborate with people according to Fiskars values
  • Ability to analyze large and complex amount of data but also see the big picture
  • Fluent command of English as a company language required.

The role will be based at our headquarters in Keilaniemi in Espoo, Finland.
