What will you be doing?We are seeking a Business Controller for our client company operating in energy industry. In this role, you will act as a business partner for specific Business Area, while also supporting performance management and compliance tasks within different Business Units. Your responsibilities will include performance reporting, developing financial processes and tools, conducting analyses, and providing forecasts and actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will offer guidance and support on financial matters to business stakeholders in your area of responsibility, collaborating closely with other support functions. The position is located in Espoo, Finland (with a possibility to work partially remotely, hybrid model) and reporting to Director Business Control. The role may require some travelling.Keys to success in this roleTo succeed in this role, you should have an academic degree in Economics and at least 2+ years of experience in business controlling and performance management within an international setting, ideally in a large corporation. You are capable to act as an active business partner and to make financial analysis as well as interpretation to support decision making. You are an analytical individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You demonstrate a proactive approach and thrive in team-oriented settings, yet you are equally capable of achieving set targets independently. With a results-driven mindset, you are a constructive challenger who brings a can-do attitude and change management expertise. You take initiative to enhance business and financial processes while consistently delivering results. You are a flexible person with exceptional efficiency and resilience under pressure.To succeed in this role, you should be fluent in both Finnish and English.
