Nordic Unique Travels is one of the main travel companies located in Rovaniemi, Finland. We specialize in tours in Lapland – in Finland, North Norway and Sweden. At the moment we have more than 100 tours and holiday packages in the Arctic Circle. Lapland is a great winter destination offering unforgettable experiences. Because of its nature, northern lights, winter activities, unique cuisine and accommodation and of course Santa Claus, it is very popular among customers from all around the world.

We are looking for Burmese tour guide to join our team in Rovaniemi office and lead foreign travelers around the region.

– Position: Burmese Tour Guide

– Duration of the agreement: 15.08.2025 to 30.04.2026, possible to prolong the contract.

– Full time position

The collaborator we want to make part of our team must have:
– Excellent command of Burmese and English (other language is a plus; Spanish, French, and Italian);
– Minimum of 1 year of work experience related to the position;
– Manual driving licence (to drive vehicle and snowmobile);
– Candidates with category D driving licence will be hired with priority;
– Reasonable knowledge about Finnish and Finnish Lapland culture;
– Knowledge on first aid is a must.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as guide or similar role;
– Excellent physical fitness;
– Be able to work for long periods of time in inclement (extremely cold) weather;
– Outgoing personality;
– Strong problem-solving skills;
– Good time management.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
– Making sure that the tours are entertaining, informational, and memorable
– Explaining the history, geography and culture of Rovaniemi (Finland)
– Guide for each tour in requested time
– Driving guests from accommodation to the tour site and back
– Prepare/ clean the equipment before and after the tour
– Assist other works when needed
