We are currently seeking a proactive and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects, supporting the Site Manager to ensure smooth and successful site operations.

About the Role:
As an Assistant Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that all works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll help manage labour, plant, safety, and site activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures, health & safety regulations, and client expectations.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and become more actively involved in all aspects of site management while working with a highly experienced and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with the management of site operations to meet project deadlines and objectives.
– Promote and ensure the highest safety standards across all site activities.
– Support in managing labour, plant, specialist subcontractors, and resources.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
– Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
– Lead toolbox talks and site inductions.
– Monitor progress and help deliver works in line with programme requirements.
– Assist with client communication and uphold strong working relationships.
– Ensure quality standards and procedures are followed at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

– Previous experience working on construction or steel erection sites.
– Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site procedures.
– Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
– Highly organised with attention to detail.
– A proactive attitude, willing to take ownership and responsibility.
– NVQ level 5 or similar qualifications, SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
– Willingness to travel and work on various project sites
