We are now seeking a dynamic and talented [position] to join our team. Norsepower Rotor Sail harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepowers project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. Each project is planned according to the clients needs and preferences. In this role, you will be part of a motivated three-person Finance team and report to the Group Controller. As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will support the team in ensuring smooth and reliable day-to-day financial operations. Depending on your skills and interests, you will also have the opportunity to develop our processes and take on more responsibility over time.Your versatile responsibilities will include managing theAP/AR process, preparing internal and external financial reports, and assisting with budgeting. You will also support month-end and year-end closing procedures. In addition, you will serve as the main user of the travel expense system and handle some administrative tasks, such as office management. Your main toolsare Excel, eFina, Visma M2and TravelPerk.To succeed in this role, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and some prior work experience.We hope that you enjoy doing routine work, but also have a developing mindset.Excellent Excel skills and a detail-oriented approach to work are essential. A genuine eagerness to learn, develop professionally, and thrive in a fast-growing company are key attributes for success.Our office is located in Ruoholahti, and we work in a flexible hybrid model. Salary range depending on experience between 3000 – 3500€/month
Requirements
Relevant study background and preferably 1 -2 years of working experience in similar roles
Excellent Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full working proficiency in English
Bonus skills
Knowledge of someaccounting software
Experience from the AP/AR process
