We are looking for a Mechanical Lead Supervisor with experience in waste-to-energy projects. This role involves contributing to an environmentally significant project’s success. The role requires especially welding quality/supervising experience and fluent English skills.

Location: Scotland, United Kingdom

As a Mechanical Lead Supervisor, you will:

– Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering standards, technical specifications, and welding quality.

– Maintain a strong focus on safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

– Lead and collaborate with both local and international teams, ensuring smooth project progress, high-quality standards, and timely completion of project phases.

– Conduct thorough testing of mechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve operational challenges as they arise.

– Keep detailed records of installations, progress, and project milestones, ensuring accurate reporting.

To succeed in this role, you have:

– A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

– 5+ years of mechanical supervision experience, ideally on waste-to-energy or similar industrial projects.

– Proven experience in welding supervision, with a solid understanding of mechanical installation challenges and solutions.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse and international team environment.

– Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and engineering standards.

– Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
