About the Role
We are looking for a Tendering Specialist to join our dynamic team at KONE Supply Chain Europe. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality tendering solutions for complex and high-impact elevator and modernization projects across global markets.
As a tendering specialist, you will act as the key person between our Supply Chain and KONE Front line teams, ensuring seamless communication, technical solution, and timely delivery of tender project that meet both customer expectations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for assigned tender projects, ensuring full ownership and accountability in Supply Chain operations.
- Supports KONE Front Lines in providing tendering solutions, Transfer Price calculations and specifications on elevator and Modernisation solutions.
- Drive the tendering process from service request to final delivery, ensuring compliance with internal policies and customer requirements.
- Coordinate tendering projects with engineering, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solution, cost efficiency, timely deliveries, and competitiveness to meet customer requirements.
- Participate in kick-off and clarification meetings with both Supply Chain and Front Line teams.
- Manage and verify tender documentation, including technical drawings and material specifications.
- Ensure that all solutions comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead key tender projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in tendering process.
- Coach and support colleagues to enhance team performance and customer centricity.
What We Expect from You
- BSc or MSc in a technical field.
- Good Capability in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Previous experience in tendering, engineering, or project management is highly valued.
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English; other languages are as an asset
