This is your chance to step into the world of workplace security and safety as Supercell launches a new Intern role at their Helsinki office!
As a Security and Safety Intern, you’ll work alongside Supercells Global Security & Safety Manager and external partners to help ensure a safe and secure environment for our people. This is a unique learning opportunity with diverse tasks. Youll contribute to both local operations at the Helsinki office and scalable global procedures that serve our employees worldwide.
Key responsibilities
– Assist in audits of security systems and surveillance equipment. Conduct regular inspections of our Helsinki sites to identify safety hazards and security risks.
– Help with the preparation of safety reports and risk assessments.
– Assist with event planning and management.
– Assist in coordinating safety drills, such as fire drills and evacuation procedures.
– Support the development and implementation of global safety policies and procedures. Help maintain global emergency response plans and documentation.
– Assist with security and safety training sessions for employees.
– Participate in incident investigations and assist in the development of corrective actions. Observe and report any security incidents or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
– Assist in ensuring compliance with company safety standards and regulations.
– Help promote a secure and safe work culture at Supercell

Requirements:
– Relevant ongoing studies or fresh degree (e.g. Bachelors in Safety, Security and/or Risk Management)
– Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Finnish or other language skills is seen as an asset
– Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
– Ability to work mostly onsite at the Helsinki office and collaborate in a fast-paced, global environment
– Proficiency in MS office and/or relevant Google workspace tools
– Sleeves up & hands on attitude. We dont have any spectators here
– Please note that you need to have the ability to work in Finland: citizenship, residency or permit, including a Finnish tax card. Unfortunately we do not offer any relocation support for this position.
Considered as plus:
– Previous work experience within security, safety, or emergency management
– Understanding of Finnish safety norms and context
– Understanding of geopolitics and how that influences risk to the business
– Experience with systems like Lenel OnGuard or Avigilon
– CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it)

Practicalities
This is a full-time, fixed-term, and paid traineeship, preferably starting in June 2025 and lasting 6 months. The specific start and end dates are negotiable. In this position, you will be employed directly to Supercell. Youll work onsite at Supercell HQ in Jätkäsaari with an occasional remote work option.
Initial timetable for the recruitment:
Sun 11th of May: Application deadline
Week 20: Phone interviews with aTalent
Week 21-22: A few rounds of onsite interviews with Supercell (remote option if needed)
Week 23: Final decision and employment contract
During June: Starting date (negotiable)
