Job purpose:

• As a Finance Solution Manager, you will be an integral part of our global solution team, working closely with the Senior Finance Solution Manager to support Fiskars’ transformation from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. In this role, you will contribute to shaping the future of our Finance landscape by bringing both functional knowledge and a collaborative mindset to ensure successful solution delivery and ongoing development.
• You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, helping to gather and structure business requirements into scalable, value-driven SAP solution concepts. Your background in Finance and related Sales processes focusing and systems will enable you to support the design and implementation of robust solutions in close cooperation with Business Process Managers (BPMs), solution architects, and external partners.
• Together with the Senior Finance Solution Manager, you will contribute to building a future-proof Finance solution roadmap, ensuring that design, configuration, and implementation align with Fiskars’ enterprise architecture and SAP best practices.
• You’ll participate in global development projects and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting the definition and delivery of functional and technical designs. You will also play an active role in maintaining solution documentation, guiding configuration efforts, and assisting in problem resolution, including major incidents when required.
• This is a team-oriented role where your ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and contribute to a shared vision is essential for success. Your expertise will help ensure that the Finance solution setup supports business continuity and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Together with the Senior Finance Solution Manager, you will contribute to building a future-proof Finance solution roadmap, ensuring that design, configuration, and implementation align with Fiskars’ enterprise architecture and SAP best practices —particularly within S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO).
• Support Fiskars’ transformation from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
• Support service management in escalations, major incidents, and problem resolution to maintain solution stability and performance.
• Contribute and learn while shaping the future of our Finance landscape by bringing both functional knowledge and a collaborative mindset to ensure successful solution delivery and ongoing development.
• Responsible for business requirement gathering with business stakeholders.
• Drive solution design that enables high usability, performance, maintainability, scalability and security.
• Establish and maintain configuration and development guidelines. Guide internal and external teams in developing and implementing solutions.
• Grow into be accountable solution delivery of the solution including development, change & release management and life cycle management.
• Grow into be accountable for the functional and technical integrity of the solution. You will oversee solution design documentation, configuration, development standards, and quality assurance.
• Guide external development teams and ensure the functional setup aligns with business process needs, working in close cooperation with BPMs to secure effective process execution and harmonization.
• You will proactively identify and evaluate new solution opportunities, gather and analyze business requirements, and define robust solution concepts and functional specifications.
• You will collaborate closely with solution architects, business process managers (BPMs), and implementation partners to ensure that solution design supports operational excellence and scalability

Experience & knowledge:

• More than 4 years’ experience in Finance IT development and delivery in a global environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration in addition to extensive experience with other finance applications. Proven experience in global template development & deployments.
• S/4 HANA end to end implementation experience preferred.
• Experience in developing end-to-end solutions for finance processes such as O2C, P2P, R2R, and FP&A.
• Strong competence in L2C area with knowledge of integration with SAP SD module are a must.
• Experience in 3rd party finance integrations (Like Basware, Nomentia, Vertex).
• End-to-end process and solution understanding, with a business-driven approach.
• Good networking skills and ability to develop sustainable relationships with key business stakeholders
• Experience of building effective teams and holding them accountable for results
• Experience in working international environment with stakeholders and teams distributed globally
• Very good collaboration and communication skills in English.
• Ability to influence and work in a matrix organization (IT/Business).
