Epec is looking for a Test & Maintenance Engineer to join our production development team. In this position you can be placed in any of Epec offices in Finland. Flexible remote work is possible at Epec, but frequent presence in Seinäjoki is expected anyway.

What kind of tasks?

This role is to develop, implement and maintain production testers from hardware and software standpoint; these testers are designed to function in Epec’s production lines. You would be responsible for developing and maintaining production tests and methods as well as platforms. In this position you would provide root-cause analysis of tester issues by studying production test data and combining it with engineering knowledge. You should also debug and update production test sequences using National Instruments TestStand/ LabVIEW and support in development of new test fixtures.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have background in electronics/electronics testing and experience with functional testing , automatic testing, debugging of PCBAs and hardware/software interfacing. To be successful in this position, you should also have programming skills, preferably NI Teststand/Labview and experience from R&D and NPI support. The ability to communicate fluently in both English and in Finnish is important for this position. MsC in electronics or SW is definitely an advantage in this position.

We appreciate boundary-scan experience or experience from working in EMS factory and R&D/NPI program. Programming skills in industrial robots / PLC and familiarity with layout/schematic review of PCBAs is an advantage. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is also preferable. As a person we wish you to be initiative, co-operative and motivated to learn new things.
