Product Owner, Service Channels

In this role as Product Owner, you work in close collaboration with KONE Service business line and respective key user network globally, and with them create concepts and functional specifications for Digital Service Transparency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in IT including design & development to deliver best-in-class digital experience.
In this role, you get to:
- Realize maximum value from product investments through the product life cycle by defining the product stream roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and planning the execution of development.
- Clarify the needs of stakeholders and customers and translating them into backlogs in form and shape of epics, features & stories.
- Own the solution design of digital services used by KONE service technicians and customers, while understanding the big picture with interdependence to integrated solutions.
- Set up the overall product performance KPIs and targets including for operations and IT activities related to benefit realization. Responsible for regularly following the KPIs and communicating with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate agile ways of working and overall planning, bring clarity, and manage the backlog efficiently & transparently.
- Apply incremental and iterative development while learning driven development principles through agile ceremonies.
- Ensure that the product operations and performance are as planned in line with the product value proposition, and timely corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the product lifecycle taking the total cost of ownership across the lifecycle into account including development costs, license costs, running costs.
- Promote continuous improvement to the product and ways of working within the agile team.
- Use feedback loops to understand stakeholder and user needs and use that knowledge while planning and executing the product roadmap.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage in the customer channels.
Skills & experience we`re looking for:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in working with product development incl. IT processes, system development and cloud-based technologies.
- Proven track record as Product Owner, Product Designer, or similar role, ideally with digital product development
- A highly motivated team player with a service-oriented mindset, enjoy consulting and co-creating impactful solutions.
- Committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences and fostering continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience in applying design thinking techniques combined with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and DevOps practices.
- Strong willingness to drive items and continuous improvement forward with friendly and respectful ways of working.
- Proven experience working in an international environment with the ability to excel in virtual organizations. Ability to both work independently as well as contribute effectively to virtual teams in a multicultural setting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English with business stakeholders, with the ability to convey complex topics in clear and engaging manner.
- Open-minded with a sense of humor, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.
