Commercial & Operations Solutions unit within KONE IT is designing, developing, maintaining and supporting solutions across KONE’s digital and digitally enabled customer journey – marketing, sales, field service and project delivery and customer service. Especially for marketing and sales, our purpose is to enable superior customer experience and high-rising sales by transforming how KONE interacts with customers.
We are now looking for a
Product Owner, Delivery Project Management
to analyze and prioritize business requirements for development, create and maintain the product roadmap, and collaborate closely with business owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in IT to deliver fit-for-purpose digital solutions for managing delivery projects in KONE.
In this role, you get to:
- Realize maximum value from product investments through the product life cycle by defining the product roadmap, prioritizing the backlog, and planning the execution of development.
- Clarify stakeholder requirements and translate them into backlog items.
- Own the solution design of digital services used by KONE delivery project managers while understanding the big picture and dependencies on integrated solutions.
- Define targets for product performance, operations and benefit realization, track performance using KPIs, and communicate status with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate quarterly planning and manage the product backlog efficiently & transparently.
- Lead agile product development.
- Ensure that product operations and performance are aligned with the product value proposition, and corrective actions are taken when needed.
- Manage financials during the product lifecycle, including development costs, license costs, and run costs.
- Promote continuous improvement of IT products.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage in KONE delivery operations.
Skills & experience we`re looking for:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in working with product development incl. IT processes, system development and cloud-based technologies.
- Proven track record as Product Owner, Product Designer, or similar role, ideally with digital product development
- Experience in project management software solutions with mobile and cloud technologies
- A highly motivated team player with a service-oriented mindset, enjoy consulting and co-creating impactful solutions.
- Committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences and fostering continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience in applying design thinking techniques combined with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience working in an international environment with the ability to excel in virtual organizations. Ability to both work independently as well as contribute effectively to virtual teams in a multicultural setting.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English with business stakeholders, with the ability to convey complex topics in clear and engaging manner.
- Open-minded with a sense of humor, contributing to a positive and dynamic work environment.
