We are now looking for

Product Architect, Channels and Sales tools for Modernization Business to join our team in KONE IT.

As a Product Architect at KONE IT, you will shape the technical design of applications that support KONE KONE’s fastest growing segment, Modernization. Your responsibilities include aligning the technical design with long-term business goals, KONE IT strategies, and solution strategies. Working collaboratively with Enterprise Architects, you will contribute to crafting the vision for an integrated solution landscape, spanning multiple teams and addressing significant technical complexities within the enterprise architecture.

You can work hands-on but also are able to collaborate and influence other development teams to build the applications with the right set of technologies.

Your responsibilities and key activities

• Define architecture framework and technology stack guidance for applications that support fast and sustainable growth of the Modernization business.
• Assist business stakeholders in selecting suitable capabilities according to enterprise architecture framework.
• Develop the target architecture and define the tools and technologies for applications based on Delivery Operations business requirements .
• Guide teams of developers to develop world-class applications that are modular, reusable, scalable, and reliable.
• Establish design and coding standards, development tools and techniques to ensure efficiency, quality and consistency in application development.

Requirements for the role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• Strong application development background with in-depth knowledge of software development.
• 10+ years of experience in solution design, having worked in architectural design roles and the ability to model complex B2B and B2C solutions.
• Ability to combine business and technology needs, communicate with business stakeholders and translate their needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and lead technical discussions.
• A solution-oriented mindset, actively seeking solutions and driving projects forward.
• Experience or a strong interest in AI and its underlying technologies, including machine learning and data science, are highly appreciated.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with proficiency in key technologies and platforms such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Angular, AWS Cloud, APIs, Microservices, Databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and DevOps.
• Experience with applying cybersecurity and data compliance requirements to system designs.
• Hands-on experience of agile development and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP.
• Experience in working in an international environment with ability to perform in virtual organizations.
• Highly motivated team player with a service-oriented mindset, enjoying consulting and co-creating solutions in a fast moving and ambitious environment.
• Critical thinker who doesn’t shy away from challenging the status quo, open-minded and a sense of humor.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
