CBB International Group is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Logistics Account Manager to join our expanding team. You will play a key role in promoting and selling our comprehensive logistics services to both new and existing clients, enabling seamless global trade.
Role: As a Logistics Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling CBB International Group’s logistics services, both as a standalone offering and as an integrated value-added service for CBB’s trade clients. You will collaborate closely with Export Account Managers and Target Market Sales Managers to identify and capitalize on logistics opportunities across all our operational regions and sectors: Industrial, Energy, Food & Beverage, Alcohol products, Tobacco products, other regulated products, Electronics, Cosmetics, and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
Responsibilities:
Proactively promote and sell CBB’s logistics solutions, including transportation (air, sea, land), warehousing, customs brokerage, tariff consultation, and other related services, to potential clients.
Collaborate closely with Export Account Managers to integrate logistics solutions as a key value proposition for their trading clients.
Partner with target Market Sales Managers to develop and implement integrated logistics strategies tailored to specific geographic markets and client needs.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CBB’s logistics capabilities, partner network, and pricing structures.
Effectively present CBB’s logistics solutions to clients and internal teams, highlighting our strengths and competitive advantages.
Negotiate logistics service agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings within the global logistics sector.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions within ERP and CRM systems.
Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies for our logistics services.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics services industry.
A solid understanding of global logistics operations, including various modes of transportation, warehousing solutions, tariffs, and customs procedures.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage your own workload effectively.
Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills relevant to our target markets are a significant advantage.
Familiarity with logistics software, CRM, and ERP systems is beneficial.
