Overview
You will be responsible for the accounting and reporting for a number of legal entities within the Oivan Group, including our Vietnamese companies:
– Accounting & Reporting: You will manage month-end closing, ensuring the quality and timely financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal controls. You will also support the preparation of local financial statements (specifically for Vietnam) and auditor coordination.
– Order-to-Cash (OTC): Handle bank statement postings, payment allocation, customer refunds, reconciliations, collection activities, and cashflow management.
– Purchase-to-Pay (PTP): Process purchase invoices, manage payments, handle queries, maintain AP, and manage month-end activities (accruals, reconciliations, controls). You will also support the local travel & expense process (specifically for Vietnam) and ensure master data accuracy within financial systems.
– You will be responsible for preparing and submitting periodic tax returns (VAT, CIT, PIT), performing tax reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese law.
– You will also handle payroll and payments for the Vietnam legal entity.
You will collaborate closely with the CFO, global Finance teams, and business stakeholders. This role requires strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to continuously improving finance systems and processes. You will also play a key role in continuously improving and enhancing local accounting and reporting processes (specifically for Vietnam).
What we are looking for:
– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
– Total of 10 years of experience in an accounting & payroll role.
– Good knowledge of Vietnamese GAAP and tax regulations. Basic IFRS knowledge is a plus.
– Strong English and Vietnamese communication and collaboration skills. Finnish or Arabic language skills are a distinct advantage.
– Proactive, independent, and development-oriented work approach with good teamwork skills.
– Strong analytical skills and experience with finance systems.
