Join Frends as Our First Customer & Community Marketing Manager

As we scale rapidly across Europe and beyond, we’re strengthening our marketing team and seeking a Customer & Community Marketing Manager.

What You’ll Lead and Build

Customer Activation & Retention

-Build programs to drive product adoption, upsell, cross-sell, and loyalty across our customer base.
-Create success journeys that guide users from onboarding to advocacy, working closely with Customer Success and Product.
-Support PLG (Product-Led Growth) or PLS (Product-Led Sales) motions by optimizing how users engage, self-serve, and expand usage.

Community Development

-Launch and nurture a vibrant user and developer community, both digitally and through in-person events
-Create engagement initiatives (webinars, AMAs, peer groups, competitions) that turn users into ambassadors
-Collaborate with Product and Sales to bring customer voices into roadmaps and go-to-market initiatives

Partner Marketing & Activation

-Build co-marketing initiatives with key technology and channel partners (e.g., Microsoft, Visma).
-Create partner enablement content and joint success stories that strengthen the Frends partner ecosystem.
-Drive awareness and pipeline generation through partner-led webinars, campaigns, and events.

Insights and Growth Loops

-Monitor community health metrics, customer feedback, and usage patterns.
-Use insights to improve onboarding, expand education efforts, and surface expansion opportunities.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in Customer Marketing and Community Management in B2B SaaS.
-Proven track record building high-engagement programs for technical audiences (developers, architects, IT leaders).
-Experience designing and executing customer onboarding, advocacy, and retention campaigns.
-Deep understanding of PLG/PLS motions and customer lifecycle strategies.
-Strong cross-functional skills: working with Product, CS, and Sales.
-Analytical mindset: You can measure what matters and iterate based on insights.
-Fluent English, written and spoken. Bonus if you have experience in Europe-focused or multi-region community building.

Bonus additions

-Experience with integration platforms, iPaaS, API management, or developer tools.
-Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, community platforms (like Discourse, Slack), or community management tools like Circle.
-Passion for AI-driven community engagement and marketing innovation.

-The start is flexible according to your situation.
-We prefer you to be located in Finland, Sweden, or the Netherlands. We have offices in Espoo, Finland, and Stockholm, Sweden.
-You will report to the CMO and collaborate closely with the rest of the marketing, sales, and product development teams.
-Our recruitment process includes three to four discussions. To ensure a smooth and informative process, you will meet at least our People Integrator, a Marketing Team Member, and the CMO. Case study and reference checks are also included.
